The Executive PA Magazine Awards are the oldest, biggest and only global awards for Executive Assistants Senior PAs have considerable influencing power and are recognised as the biggest direct bookers of corporate meetings and business travel of any other professional group.
Executive PA Magazine has been celebrating the very best from across the UK since 1991.
The 2016 Executive PA Magazine UK Awards were held at the Indigo at the O2 and were attended by over two hundred PA professionals as well as many within the business travel and MICE industries.
I am proud, humbled and delighted that Amanda Turner our Office Manager nominated me for the “Boss of the Year” award 2016.
I have worked with Amanda for over 10 years now and we share a unique working bond and have developed a great personal friendship during this time.
Many executives type their own letters, book their own meetings and arrange their travel these days, however, there is still one person critical to the Boss’ success and that is the professionals professional; our Amanda. I once heard that a secretary is told what to do, a PA tells the boss what to do!
Amanda has the heart of the business in everything that she does, she knows the people, the service, the departments and the clients inherently. She is a partnership maker and the eyes and the ears of the business thus supporting the understanding of key issues and developing action plans. To be put forward for this accolade from her professional network by a person who is an excellent communicator is an honour indeed.
The night was a great success, I hope you enjoy of video of the evening, unfortunately Amanda was unable to join us on the night but she sent lovely messages of support from her sun lounger! Thanks Amanda.
