"Wear your loudest clothes to create a sound future for deaf children"

Updated: Apr 7, 2020

There are around 7,200 severely or profoundly deaf children under the age of five in the UK.

Auditory Verbal is an organisation in which their vision is that all deaf babies and deaf children have the opportunity to listen and speak as equals alongside their hearing peers.

80% of children who spend at least two years on their programme develop age appropriate language.

Every year they arrange the Loud Shirt Day UK. The main objective is to wear your loudest shirt and raise money to help more families with a deaf child and give them access to their life-changing services and AVT programme.

You can take part by yourself, with friends, or with your school or workplace next Friday 16 June 2017.

Register to receive your free fundraising pack full of loud materials and fun ideas and helpful tips to assist you in running a successful day! https://www.avuk.org/loud-shirt-day-uk
