Today is International Women's Day (IWD) and the theme for this year is #BreakTheBias, a campaign that runs all year long - not just during IWD ㋡
This is a day to forge women's equality, to show your commitment to calling out bias, smashing stereotypes, breaking inequality, and rejecting discrimination.
We are surrounded by notable women everywhere; hard-workers, dreamers, entrepreneurs and strong women. Just look around! You can see it in your partner, your daughter, your mum, your doctor... And here at Deaf Umbrella we are female led!
I'm very proud to be working closely with inspiring, clever, supportive, energetic and enthusiastic women.
I learn day by day from my peers the importance of fighting for a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, not only for women, but for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
