Searching for a job as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing person can be one of the most frustrating experiences, and it may feel overwhelming.

Did you know that 56% of deaf people have experienced discrimination in the workplace due to being deaf or hard of hearing?:

Also, as a deaf person, you might probably face linguistic complications, disadvantages and lack of deaf awareness in the workplace.

However, there is support available for both those trying to find work and those in work looking for a change!

Here at Deaf Umbrella we run a free Online Job Club for British Sign Language (BSL) users to help you get started.

We work with a brilliant employment advisor who will help and support you in your first language (BSL) to achieve the same job opportunities the rest of the candidates have.
